When writing about a subscription, include the platform (App Store, Google Play or web), the date, and for web subscriptions the link you landed on after paying. Never send card numbers.
I bought Pro but the app still says Free
- iPhone or Android app: open Stats, tap "Restore purchases", and make sure you are signed in to the store account that started the subscription.
- Web: the app renews its Pro licence from time to time while your subscription runs, so open it once with an internet connection and give it a moment. If it still says Free, open Stats, tap "Restore purchases" and paste the link of the page you landed on right after paying (it contains an id starting with
cs_). If you just paid, wait a minute and try again. - If the subscription was cancelled or a payment failed, Pro ends with the period you paid for. You can subscribe again from the paywall.
- If you are not signed in, Pro stays on the platform where you subscribed: a web subscription does not unlock the store apps and the other way round. Sign in with the same account (More → Account) on each device and Pro follows the account.
How do I cancel or switch plans?
Cancel where you subscribed. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and the subscription does not renew.
- Web: open Stats and tap "Manage subscription". Stripe's billing page opens, where you can cancel, switch between monthly and yearly, or update your card. Web subscriptions are sold through Link, so you can also manage them at link.com.
- iPhone: open Stats and tap "Manage subscription", or go to Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, and choose GTO Drill. You can cancel there or pick the other plan.
- Android: open Stats and tap "Manage subscription", or open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and choose GTO Drill. To change plans, cancel there and choose the other plan in the app when the current one ends.
My progress disappeared
If you are not signed in, progress lives on your device only. Clearing site data or app data, private browsing, or uninstalling removes it and it cannot be recovered. The iOS and Android apps keep a second copy in the app's preferences, which survives the system clearing web storage. If you were signed in, sign in again with the same email and your progress comes back from the account.
The Flop tab says the browser can't unpack the data
Flop drills need a browser or system WebView from 2023 or later (iOS 16.4+, an up-to-date Android System WebView, Chrome 80+, Firefox 113+). Updating the browser fixes it.
Something looks wrong in a range
The ranges come from the app's own simplified solvers and hand-built approximations, so they can differ from commercial solvers. If you own a solver, you can import its ranges from the Charts tab (Pro). If a range looks plainly broken, email us the spot and the hand.
Refunds
App Store and Google Play subscriptions are refunded by Apple or Google through their own refund pages. For a web subscription, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that charge through Stripe, or ask Link support, which may refund within 60 days. Cancelling stops future renewals; we do not give partial refunds for the rest of a period, except where the law requires it.
